Refund and Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 2 September 2026
This policy applies to everything you buy from arteamente.it. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
We sell digital products only: ebooks and guides delivered as files, and subscriptions giving access to parts of this Site. We do not sell physical goods, and nothing is ever shipped. There is therefore nothing to return, and every remedy in this policy is a refund or a cancellation.
Contents
1. What you are buying
Our products are written material about business insurance, business finance, business law, human resources, management, and business software. They are general educational information for a broad audience, not advice about your company or your situation, and buying one does not create a professional or advisory relationship of any kind. Please read our Disclaimer before purchasing.
Each product page states what the product contains, its length or scope, its format, and what is included in a subscription. If anything on that page is unclear, ask us before you buy rather than after.
2. Ebooks and guides
Ebooks and guides are delivered as a download link or a file sent by email, immediately after payment.
Our promise: if an ebook is not what you expected, write to us within fourteen days of purchase and we will refund you in full. You do not need to give a reason. We ask for one because it helps us improve the product, but the refund does not depend on your answering.
You do not need to delete the file, and we will not ask you to prove that you have. We would rather trust people than build a process around the few who take advantage.
3. Subscriptions
A subscription gives you access to designated parts of this Site for as long as it remains active. It renews automatically at the end of each billing period, at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel.
3.1 Cancelling
- You can cancel at any time from your account page, in the same number of steps it took you to subscribe. You do not need to email us, call anyone, or explain why.
- Cancellation stops the next renewal. Your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then ends.
- We do not charge a cancellation fee, and we do not require notice.
3.2 Refunds on a subscription
- First payment: if you cancel within fourteen days of subscribing for the first time, we refund that payment in full.
- Renewals: if you are charged for a renewal you did not intend and you cancel within seven days of that charge, we refund it in full, provided you have not used the Site since the charge. This applies whether or not you saw our reminder email.
- Part-used periods: outside the windows above we do not refund a period already in progress, because you keep access for the whole of it.
3.3 Before each renewal
We email you before each renewal, stating the renewal date, the amount, and how to cancel, with a working link. If we fail to send that email and you tell us you did not intend to renew, we refund the renewal.
4. Immediate access and your right of withdrawal
Because digital content is delivered immediately, at checkout you are asked to confirm that you want delivery or access to begin at once and that you understand you lose any statutory right of withdrawal once delivery is complete. The box is not pre-ticked. If you do not tick it, we cannot give you immediate access.
This reflects the fourteen-day right of withdrawal available to consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom, and the permitted waiver of it for digital content supplied immediately with your express consent. Our own refund promise in sections 2 and 3 applies regardless of that waiver, so ticking the box does not leave you with less than this policy gives you.
5. If something does not work
If a product was not delivered, arrived incomplete or corrupted, could not be downloaded, or if subscriber access failed because of a fault on our side, we will fix it or refund you in full, at your choice, regardless of any time limit in this policy. Tell us and we will sort it out.
This includes the case where a product turns out to be materially different from what its product page described.
6. What is not a ground for refund
Two things worth being clear about, given what we publish.
- Outcomes. Our products are educational material, and we make no promise that reading them will improve your revenue, your retention, your compliance position, or the quality of your decisions. That an approach described in an ebook did not produce a particular result for your company is not a defect in the product. See sections 11 and 14 of our Disclaimer.
- Repeated refunds. Where the same buyer has already received several refunds and continues to purchase, we treat further requests as abuse of this policy and may decline them and block future purchases. This is the only circumstance in which we refuse a request made in time.
7. How to request a refund or cancel
Cancel a subscription yourself from your account page. For a refund, email info@arteamente.it from the address you used to buy, with the order number, or the date and amount if you cannot find it.
We reply within three business days and approve or explain. Approved refunds are issued within ten business days.
8. How refunds are paid
Payments are processed by PayPal, and refunds are returned to the same PayPal account or payment method used for the purchase. We cannot refund to a different account. Once we issue a refund, the time it takes to appear depends on PayPal and on your bank or card issuer, and is outside our control.
Refunds are made in the currency of the original payment. Where your bank applied a currency conversion or a foreign transaction fee, we refund the amount we received, and we cannot recover a fee charged to you by a third party.
9. Chargebacks
If something is wrong, please contact us first. We would rather refund you than dispute a chargeback, and we have never refused a request made in good faith and in time.
Opening a chargeback without contacting us costs us a fee whatever the outcome and gets you your money more slowly than we would. Where a chargeback is filed without any prior contact, we may block future purchases.
10. Price changes and discontinued products
We may change the price of a subscription. A change applies from your next renewal, never retroactively, and we tell you by email before it takes effect, with enough time to cancel first.
If we withdraw a product or close a subscription service, existing subscribers keep access until the end of the period they have paid for, or receive a pro-rata refund of the unused part, whichever is greater. Ebooks already purchased remain yours to keep, and we will give you the chance to download the file again before any download link is retired.
11. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under consumer protection law where you live, including automatic-renewal and cancellation rules in United States federal and state law, provincial consumer protection legislation in Canada, and consumer rights in the European Union and the United Kingdom. Where the law gives you more than this policy does, the law applies.
